Ok,ok,ok. It’s been a while, we know! It’s been way too long actually, looking at the website i just noticed it’s been at least a month or 2!
Sooo what have we been up too? Well the part of the Dutch team had a trip to France in the first weeks of May, pictures for the NEW WEBSITE have been shot, new designs have been produced and we’ve ordered some fresh goodies to come along with every new order from now on!

We’ve also got a new team rider! Joey Peters from Florida has been added to the team, and as his package of cool new Color clothes is almost ready to leave from the office you can be assured that you’ll see him rockin’ the newest designs and spreading out the stoke! This up and coming rider has caught our attention with his video’s and positive attitude! We’re happy to have such a cool guy on board and we can’t wait for what the future will bring!!!

Also, Joey got featured in one of the latest issues of Foreverskim Magazine and he won the Tybee Island Take-Over, and we wanna say we’re very proud of these achievements too! Keep it up Joey!!!!

Shawn Kenny
Shawn has been doing good too lately! Not only is he providing SkimNC.com with sick video’s on an almost daily basis. He also finished 3rd in Delawere, making both Alley Oop and Color very happy!

Here’s one of Shawn’s latest vid’s which i personally liked a lot!!!

He finished fifth in the LBI Skim Jam, and this weekend he, Quinton and Joey will no doubt be turning heads as they go out to the OBX contest! It’s gonna be sick so beware of the colored riders!!!

We have color pins now! They’re cool for backpacks, bags, boardbags, jackets, whatever! And you’re getting these with all screenprinted tees from the 2010 line! First new tee will drop soon, keep your eyes open!!!!

To the people that did not see it yet… Shawn, “the movie-making’ machine” Kenny made another movie, some real good footage and awesome editing, we’re excited to have such a creative and progressing rider on our team and see a bright future for skimboarding as a whole with Shawn involved in it!

Would now be a good time to talk about something else too? I think so!
Shawn is also involved with our friends at SkimInvasion, they decided to bring new life into the once legendary www.SKIMNC.com!

For those who don’t know, this website was once famous for it’s movies and photosets of the beaches in North Carolina, big names like Woody Harris were (if i remember correctly) involved with it back then!

Richard is part of this project too, but he just did what he knows best; designing. So the new logo of SkimNC you’re looking at is done by yours truly.

We can’t wait what this project will bring, but we’re very optimistic! Go Shawn, Go NC!

A few days ago i posted a little update about how Quinton was in the Semi’s of the PCB Contest!

Well, Monday we got word, he made it into the finals of both divisions he entered in and Scored a 2nd Place in the Semi Pro Divison and a 3rd Place in Mens!

Quinton we’re proud of you!

Gregbierer at Skim Online Message Boards posted some pics of the contest online… Quinton is walking by in one off them, but we’re awaiting more!

Cause our beloved Teamrider Quintian Buteijn has turned 19 years old today!
We’d like to thank Quintian for all his work on the beach, steezing up those waves and getting the crowd stoked on skimming, and we look forward to the bright future that this ripper holds as he is still growing in skill! May the time be on your side our good friend, and may you ride a lot of waves this coming year!

12 Days left till we leave to France!
As every year we go to France with a group of friends, Teamriders Nienke van Breugel, Quintian Buteijn, Paul Brouwer and Richard de Ruijter will also be going again this year!
If you’re in France from May 1st till the 17th of May, hit us up and skim in Hossegor/Cap Ferret/San Sebastian any other place that’s firing! Hope the gods have mercy upon our souls and will grant us some great waves and even better weather… And we’ll try to come back with some great footage!

At this moment Quinton Good has placed in the Semi Finals of the PCB Contest… more about this later (as we know the results by then hopefully), GO GO GO QUINTON!

And by “really good” we mean REALLY GOOD!
He just won the first ever Waterboyz AM, and as our fresh new Team-rider we couldn’t be more happy!
Keep it up Quinton! We’re proud and we can’t wait for the next contest and the victories to come!

I’m really sorry but it appears the package i’ve sent over to Skim Invasion somehow got lost during shipping.
I’ve went to the post office on monday last week and they’re looking into the package and would contact me as soon as they got something.

i’m really bummed about all this and if the t-shirts are not getting there this week i’m gonna get a new package ready…

My apologies for this thing taking so long but considering the value of the package i sent earlier i’m not really jumpy to just send out another one without having done everything within my power to make sure the first package is unrecoverable.
